Warm-Up: Class Introduction and expectations, movement games and balance drills.
Technique: Basic fighting stance and footwork, jab, cross, and guard positional technique.
Cool-Down: Hip, shoulder and wrist stretches mixed with slower mobility exercises to support strengthening and spaciousness in the joints. Closing with Diaphragmatic Breathing.
Warm-Up: Partner warm up drills & Introduction to light shadow kicking boxing
Technique: Review boxing fundamentals and introduce the push and side kick fundamentals.
Cool-Down: Core mobility exercises that support the spine and the main core muscles of the body for better posture and breath mechanics. Closing with Breath of Fire to release energy!
Warm-Up: Cardio circuit with bag work punches and kicking
Technique: Combine punching and kicking combos focusing on rhythm, timing and targets. Introducing the cross and upper cut strikes
Cool-Down: Slow mobility exercises in the ankles, knees, hips and shoulders to create stability to support a deeper stretch and opening in these areas of the body. Closing with Diaphragmatic Breathing.
Warm-Up: Reaction and evasion games. shoulder tag, mirror drills, partner pad work.
Technique: Defense drills introducing head movement, slips, ducks, covers, blocks, parry and counter striking mixed with striking combinations and introduction to working the heavy bag.
Cool-Down: Neck mobility and gentle stretching with Ujjayi Breathwork to support the throat and neck. Review of defense movements.
Warm-Up: Partner drills with focus-mitt target drills.
Technique: Review and sharpen existing techniques focusing on body mechanics, power delivery, speed, timing and flow. Introducing the flying knee strike!
Cool-Down: Slow yoga practice incorporating movements from class with a strong focus on connection with the breath and using the breath to power each movement. Teamwork reflection.
Warm-Up:: Reaction games and focus-pad flow.
Technique: Review all striking combinations and set up each members striking combo flow for demo day.
Cool-Down: Gentle full body yoga flow with Lions Breath, bowing practice and rehearsal for demonstration.
Warm-Up: Light shadow boxing and teamwork energy circle.
Technique: Final review followed by the member demonstration—students perform their footwork, partner pad work striking combinations and sparring with the instructors!
Cool-Down: Group breathwork with Breath of Fire, group photo and certificate presentation.
